Brief description

MILTEN contains an active substance called finasteride. It belongs to a group of medicines called 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors.

MILTEN reduces the size of the enlarged prostate to men. The prostate gland is located under the bladder (but only men have it). It produces secretion, which is part of the semen. Enlargement of the prostate gland can lead to a condition called „benign prostatic hyperplasia” or BPH.
